I am home!

Hongkong is a nice place, especially the night scenary.
I went up to the Peak! Wonderful view! I'm actually lazy to blog out everything happened during the last 6 days.

But one thing i must say, the food there are yummylicious!!
I ate Hainan pork Chop, Sweetdynasty, Beef noodles, Roast Pork, Suckling pig, Egg tarts, "yuan yang" (their mocha! mixture of tea n coffee) and more and more.
Their KFC is yummy as well! Taste better than what we have here. And guess what! They provide gloves, so i need not dirty my hands for the meal! i love their Hot wings! which is not available in Singapore! Now i m starting to miss it. I ate non-stop, and i never ever felt hunger once i started breathing Hongkong's air. I gained weight, but Thx God is only half a kilo~ Muahaha *hit the gym soon*

And i had a haircut. The salon i went is located at TST, the standard of the salon is like Ginrich, but the prices are even friendly than what i paid for neighbourhood salon. Dye and Cut cost me $40+ Sing! I like my new hairstyle, just that i think i picked the wrong colour. Is abit tooo bright, which my mum finds it disturbing. Gonna be dark brown very soon! Maybe in another 5 mths time? *Laughs* Anyway, my new hairstyle is "messy", as in the style is "messy". Trend for the year, thats what my stylist said, hope is easy to maintain. The dye product he used on me is very conditioning! I forgot to bring conditioner to HK, i was kinda worried for my hair condition after dye-ing it. Yet to my delight, my hair is very soft and smooth even without conditioner! Is not drying at all, unlike what i used to get in Singapore! Haydn's mummy got a trendy perm as well, and it cost less than Sing$70. WhAo! Conclusion! Whenever i visit Hongkong, i gonna pamper my hair!

Those were the things i love about HK, however i m utterly disappointed with Ladies St. Is not as good as what people told me. The stall owners there are all out to drain tourists' blood. And the stuffs there are not my style, not trendy enough. Anyway, we headed Tsuan Wan! Is a neigbourhood shopping centre, just like Tiong Bahru Plaza or J8, Is cheaper than Ladies St and is more trendy as well. Hug Tsuan Wan!

And the Espirt there are darn cheap!! I got a jacket for less than $30Sing, a spag top for $12sing and lots of makeup!

The results of over-buying and over-eating leads to a hole in our wallet. We were broke by the end of the fourth day. Thx God, DBS is just nearby.

And the weather is freaking cooling, only 17°C.

Will be off for a holi trip in 15 mins time..
Flying to Hongkong, of cos i m filling with anticipation rite now~

I'm wondering how the goose and pigeon taste like?
How will my shopping trip goes?
How will my hotel be? (heard is 4 stars)
How will Hongkong reacts to Ann Lee's (or it is Lee Ann?) Oscar Winning?

Yea i Hope Brokeback Mountain will sweep every awards!
Nothing for Geisha! (*Meanie*)
And Felicity Huffman will win the best female lead!!

终于考完试了，也代表了我的理工学院生涯告一段落了。

三年过去了，虽然没有物换星移的改变，但多多少少也有些不同。

我从27寸腰缩到24寸。终于减肥成功了！哈哈！*骄傲*

这可是三年来最大的改变哦!

三年的日子里也学了许多做人的道理，看过人心的丑恶也知道了世界有多“真实”。
待人处世方面也学了很多，当然现在也比较会珍惜身边得人，因为知道这世界上要找到一个真心对你的人是非常难的。

也从一个少年变成了一个成年人。我非常抗拒长大，不是因为我怕老而是成年人的世界真得很难懂。可是这是一个避不了的过程，但请相信我还是保留了我昨天的笑容=）

我曾经放过狠话，我是不会不舍得理工学院的日子。可是到了昨天和同学们道别时，心里是酸溜溜的。
从道别的那一刻起，大家会继续走自己人生的道路，不知道何时我们会在旅途上有遇见对方。不用说，我和我那几个"猪朋狗友"还是会联络。 可是也不知道何时感情会像风筝一样，断了线。大家会很忙，忙着读大学，赚钱，结婚，生子，等等等。。。 希望，友谊长存~*Yeah*

我知道我那些朋友是不可能有耐性把这编文章读完的，所以i am going to type in English now.

Thank you to all who were there for me in my poly life, esp yingxi,jasey and tingy. Not forgetting josef, zy, xiang xiang, germs and jiali.. Poly life was tough, but becos of you ppl is filled with fun memories. Hope we still can keep in contact, gonna miss you people very much.. *hugs*

Last paper preparation in the midst.
Yet, i was out for a "part-time" job last nite.

Got a call from one of the casting crew, so i made my way down to mediacorp.
Radio gate is the place where all the fans will scream their throat out for their idols. And yesterday, i saw a grp of girls waiting patiently outside for their idol, with gifts on their hands. It kept me thinking, whats their goal in life?

Anyway, i went to collect my outfit for the drama. Nine West's heels is really comfy.. haha. Then my makeup, i thot they going to straighten my hair, disappointed, they used straightening iron to curl my hair. Amazing! Saw Cheryl Fox and Eunice Oslen, in the same makeup room as me. Real Pretty!!!

At 6.30pm, the bus drove me and other part-timer to Fort Canning for the shot. I was the secretary in the scence, no lines, just need to make expressions. React to the lines the others said. Now then i know, there are different types of "ranking". For me and my "partnet", they call us Part-timer. We are of higher rank, as in more well paid and more respect. For the rest, they called them the "ca-leh-fe". I heard they need to stay for the whole day and their paid is usually less than $20. Part-Timer are more fortunate, once they finish they scene they can leave. Those "ca-leh-fa" got quite alot of scolding from the AP last night. Lucky for me, no lines, thus not much chance to make any mistake.

The stars i met up with last night were Felicia Chin, Alvin Ng, Michelle aka Zheng Xue Er, Julian Hee, Rui En and Zeng Xiang. All of them are really good looking. Esp Alvin Ng *Blush* They are nice peeps, not much "airs". Friendly i should say.

After the experience, i start to appreciate theatre better. Acting on "television and Acting on "stage" are two different things. Theatre seems to have a deeper depth, where you really can slowly mould the character and build it up. For Tv drama, most of the time, they do the shot one scene by one scene. The emotions doesnt seems to be strong enough. And theatre cannot tolerant any NG, which is really an okay issue for TV drama.

One thing i hate abt the shot is, you need to WAIT. They do it scene by scene, thus if it is not your scene yet, you need to wait for the other group to complete theirs. The worst scenario is they keep NG-ING, you can wait till your hair turns white.
I was waiting for around a hour last nite, for the actors and actresses to finish a scene, and they took very long to do it right. At that point, i really feel like those little girls waiting outside the radio gate, wasting my time. Acting is a fun job, but come to think, is not meaningful. Is only the glamourous side that makes it so wonderful.

Teaching seems to be more meaningful.. Oh ya, i recieved my "A levels" chinese results, An A1 for me and a Distinction for my Oral! Yippeee!! Thx God for it! Miracle performed by Him, again. *Beams*

Back to my Exams, So far i completed 3 papers.
God really showed His grace on me.
I do know how lazy am i for this semester, but He seems to be always there to help me and give me a push. Valey's brain doesnt have much memory cells, i hate memorising things as well, but somehow i can remember things well for these few papers. And for second paper, those i studied they came out, those i didnt study, i wondering where are they? *laughs* God is Great!

Always hand your burden to Him, He will always be willing to help, cos He loves Me, You, You and You! Yes You!

It reminds me of a song i learnt it from YMCA childcare, it goes " Cast your burden onto Jesus, for you, He cares.. *all the little children emerge out from the scene and start to dance*

A very lazy saturday afternoon.

I spent the morning cum early afternoon by shopping at Tiong Bahru Plaza alone.
Been ages since i go shopping on my own. Bought a copy of TNP, sat down at Ya Kun and have my toast bread which i craved for ages.
Had a very happy time pushing those toasts down my throat and the yummylicious tea n egg. I feel so much like an uncle, guess only uncles will buy a copy of newspaper, drink coffee and so and so. But anyway, is indeed peaceful. And my toast is slightly burned today! *Lick*

Well shopping and eating lunch alone might sounds very "depressing" or "weird" to some others. For me, is a good time to spend time with yourself. Thinking through stuffs and enjoying your very own's company. I don't find myself pitiful at all.

I went The Face Shop, looked at their Nail Polish, was intending to find out if they contain Nitrocellulose. But well, they don't have any ingredients list. Side track abit: Nitrocellulose is a very impt component in a nail polish formulation. It is a plastic film former, which allows your nail to "breathe" so as to prevent skin fungus. Other than that, a good nail formulation need to have castor oil or methcrylate, or simply some other resin and plasticizer. End of lecture. [ I didn't have the chance to write this down in my exam paper, when i spent lotsa of time memorising it. Thus i decided to put it up here. Hrmp! ]

Then i proceed to The Body Shop. They have this ice-cream alike eye shadow!! Yummylicious! The trend for Spring/Summer 06, is to have very ice-creamy look. Those colour will be quite bold, think bright light blue! Shu Uemura has this eye colour pencil in Duo colour! Bright yellow and blue. Blushers wise, is got to be light pink and light peach. Shu Uemura have nice blusher pots! Anna Sui as well! Whao! Maybelline has this veri smooth texture blusher as well. I forgot whats the name for it. Is very nicey as well. And glossy lips! A must to have! So gals time to spend more time on moisturising and protect your lippy. OOoOOo.. how i love Spring/Summer..

My shopping kakis are all ready for me! Angeline and XiaoPing! They two can't run from ME! And JazzyMin!!!!! Gal, i really hope to spend some time with you roaming on Orchard Road.

Ha! Back to reality. Paper on Tuesday and Last paper on Friday.

I bought a few cards as well. Out of the four cards i bought, four cards hold the same promise. I'll be there for my friend, if they ever need me. Well, i guess thats the most basic principal (or is it principle?, Miss Ong Jazzy i need help here) of a friend. I went up to Angeline's place last nite, it was a surprise visit. I know she is having a rough patch now, actually planned to meet her up for a cup of coffee in Orchard. However i need to make a trip down to the tour agency so i call off the meeting. She called at 7pm+ when i was having dinner. She asked if i was free, and i sensed something wrong in her voice. Thus, i made my way down, with the lovely help of Haydn. I m glad to see her and i know she was happy as well. We stood at the windows, enjoying the breeze and i laughed till my cheek felt ache. We were talking about the past. And both of us have held those memories so dearly. We have never forgot those crazy things we did. No matter how stupid it was, it still bring us laughter and tears. OOooo, my dearest friend.
